This Privacy Policy explains how Adir Hatam (“we”, “us”) operates SUN OUTAGE CALCULATOR (the “Site”), what information is collected when you use it, how Google AdSense and other third parties use cookies to serve advertisements, and the choices you have. We publish this policy so the Site can display advertising in line with the Google Publisher Policies and AdSense required content.

1. Who we are

The Site is operated by Adir Hatam. It is a free sun-outage calculator for geostationary satellite earth stations. You can contact us at 112adir112@gmail.com.

We do not require you to create an account. We do not run a user database of named profiles.

We do not ask for your name, payment details, or a login. Do not submit sensitive personal data in the calculator fields.

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on the Site. This supports operation of the free calculator. Google is an independent controller of the personal data it processes for advertising. Please also read Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Ads are labeled as advertisements. We do not control the specific advertisers whose creatives Google selects.

We do not sell personal information for money. Google AdSense and its partners may collect identifiers and internet activity for advertising, which can be “sharing” or a “sale” under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA. You can opt out of personalized advertising with Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info. If Google’s US state privacy message is enabled on the Site, use that control as well. 10. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for satellite-operations professionals and other adults. It is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the relevant age), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it from our systems where we can.

11. Retention, security, and international transfers

Calculator inputs are processed to produce the current page and Excel file. We do not keep a long-term archive of every calculation. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations, then deleted or aggregated. Google and other advertisers retain data according to their own policies.

We use HTTPS and standard hosting protections. No method of transmission is completely secure.

The Site and Google’s advertising systems may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may not provide the same legal protections as your home country. Where required, Google offers its own transfer mechanisms for data it controls.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Site, our advertising setup, or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the Site after an update means you have read the revised policy.
